Cecilia Armengol Alonso cecilia_armengol@aor.com.mx Born in Hermosillo, Sonora, on september 23, 1978. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) Law School in 2002 with the thesis “Legal Taxation of the E-Commerce” Between 1999 and 2000 she worked at the Federal Court of Tax and Administrative Justice. She collaborated from June 2000 through 2002 with an International Commercial Advisory Firm, “Bufete Internacional de Occidente, S.A. de C.V.” working as a Corporate Advisory Lawyer in Customs Law and Foreign Trade. She worked as a an internal advisor in the International Trade Department of “Solectron de Mexico, S.A. de C.V.”. During 2002 she worked at the Tax Administration Service (SAT), a decentralized agency of the Mexican Ministry of Internal Revenue as a Tax Lawyer. She have a postgraduate degree in Customs Law and International Trade, obtained at the University of International Business in Mexico City. She has taken legal and business English courses at ITESO and at Kensington Academy of English (London, U.K.) She is currently studying a Masters of Law (LLM) on International Commercial and Business Law at the University of East Anglia, in Norwich, England, as a Scholar by ALBAN Program a scholarship project of European Union. She is Fluent in English and has basic notions of Italian |
